Rod has over 35 years of experience in IT, with a career spanning pharmaceuticals, electronics, and more recently the education sector. Before moving into technology, he worked as a laboratory technician, primarily in pathology laboratories. He began his IT career as a programmer, using the now-legacy System 1032 language to manage clinical trial data. From there, Rod transitioned into systems management, gaining extensive expertise across VMS, Unix, and Windows server environments. His work has included managing networks and firewalls, providing end-user support, and maintaining critical IT infrastructure. His background brings together deep technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and adaptability developed across multiple industries.
