Ann has more than 40 years of experience as a chartered accountant. In 2012, when Whitley Stimpson started to develop an interest in academies, it was a natural fit for her to become the lead associate director of the newly formed academies team. In 2016 Ann became chief finance officer. Ann then moved to a four-school MAT providing the CFO with support and technical knowledge to move the decentralised finance structure to a centralised team.
