Edith Moorhouse continues to be a 'Good' school - Ofsted June 2025

Following the recent Ofsted inspection on the 3rd and 4th of June 2025, Edith Moorhouse Primary School is thrilled to confirm that it continues to be a ‘Good’ school.

A particularly rewarding highlight from the report is that the pupils themselves consider the school to be ‘loving’ and ‘caring’. This truly reflects the supportive and nurturing environment the school strives to create.

The inspectors also commended the school's very high expectations for pupils’ achievement across all year groups, ensuring every child is challenged to reach their full potential. For the youngest learners, the report noted that children in the Preschool and Reception Years are happy in the vibrant and engaging environment.
