The River Learning Trust recently hosted a key progress review with the Oxford Cradle to Career partnership, highlighting a powerful collaborative effort to tackle educational and social inequalities across Oxford.

Just ten months after its initial launch, the partnership network has expanded rapidly. The meeting brought together a diverse group of civic leaders, employers, charities, higher education institutions, and local schools—including multiple RLT academies—to evaluate progress across these key priority areas:

  • Basic Needs
  • Health & Early Years Support
  • Enrichment & Digital Equity
  • Career Pathways & Community Assets

At RLT, we are deeply committed to social mobility and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to thrive. This partnership embodies that mission, proving that while no single organisation can solve systemic inequalities alone, collective action can drive sustainable, long-term change.

We look forward to continuing this vital work alongside our incredible network of partners to create brighter futures across our communities.
